Do you want to help drive the LPI's global strategy?

 The Big Picture

The LPI’s mission is to promote, empower and support best practice in workplace learning, giving particular focus to learning efficacy – the demonstrable impact of learning on individual and organisational performance.

As we continue to grow internationally, we are building a new Advisory Board of influential business leaders who can shape and develop our strategy for the global learning community.

As an Advisory Board member, your considerable expertise, knowledge and ideas will inspire us to explore new services, extend into new markets, and make the best decisions for our members.

This is a unique chance to join a progessive, exciting and provocative organisation, and an unparalleled opportunity to guide our agenda as we expand our international presence.

I look forward to receiving your application,

Donald H Taylor
LPI Chairman

 The Small Print

The Board comprises 10 members. Half are chosen by the LPI Executive Board and half selected from applications. Being one of the 10 members of the LPI Advisory Board means committing yourself to advising the world’s leading professional body dedicated to Learning and Development. There will be two 90-minute online meetings per year, for which you will be asked to prepare and contribute. All Board members bring their own unique backgrounds and extensive experience to create an input as diverse as possible. Members typically serve between 2 and 4 years. As members retire from the board, new appointments keep the total number at 10.

In return for your time commitment, and in acknowledgement of your expertise, your membership of the LPI will be elevated to Fellowship status (if you are not already a Fellow). In addition, you will be given the unique status of ‘LPI Ambassador’. This is a new status, unrelated to a member’s level of membership. You will be awarded a digital badge to add to your social media profiles and you will retain this status after you have ceased to serve on the Advisory Board.

Thank you to everyone who applied to be on the LPI Advisory Board.
Applications are now CLOSED.

The final results will be announced before the end of the year. If you have any questions about your application, please contact Pauline Saunders
