CDOL will provide you with proven, research-based, best practice tips and techniques for online training design that lead to practical learning transfer, which will be explained, practised, and reinforced throughout the course. You’ll learn how to design learning materials for the live online environment and how to think differently about participant engagement and interactivity. The live online environment is very different to the face-to-face one. You cannot simply transfer your classroom courses to the live online environment. 92% of people multitask during webinars*. Unless your webinar or online course is really well designed and implemented, attendees will lose interest or concentration. You can’t just upload your face-to-face training materials and activities and hope they will suffice. If you are a trainer, designer, L&D manager or otherwise involved in the delivery of online courses and webinars to your clients, you’ll want to ensure your courses and webinars are designed effectively. The LPI’s Certificate in Designing Online Learning (CDOL) will give you the tools, techniques and best practice guidelines to design effective and memorable online courses.
Being CDOL certified proves your readiness to design live online sessions with skill and authority.
Who is the course for?
Individuals whose current or future job responsibilities include designing live online learning events, such as courses, meetings, webinars or web conferences, for their internal/external clients (irrespective of the content).
Delegates who pass the course will be awarded the Certificate from the LPI and permitted to use a logo on personal and business stationery, correspondence and websites.
