[Webinar] API’s in Learning Explained: How Ecosystems Work

April 3 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

APIs are languages that websites, apps and software use to talk to each other and get things done. xAPI, for example, is a learning experience API that replaces SCORM. A strong set of APIs is the only way any learning ecosystem can function seamlessly.

The bigger picture for L&D? APIs get learning out of the LMS and onto the main stage. The right APIs can take our existing content right into the systems people already use – email, workflow tools like Slack or Teams, social networks – and report on what happens there.

In this webinar, drawing on our experience of implementing xAPI, experimenting with APIs for automated content curation, and rolling out an API for magpie, Filtered’s head of product Juan D’Achiardi will explain:

    • What is an API? What does it mean and how does it work?
    • How APIs are used in the Learning & Development industry to drive business outcomes
    • Looking forward – The future benefits of using APIs in your organisation
