Given the global pandemic, many organisations need to rapidly find ways to deliver training remotely. The virtual classroom was the first logical step and now there is an increased interest in more blended forms of learning. The trouble is; it’s easy to get the blend wrong and waste time, money and your learners’ limited attention whilst achieving minimal positive impact. LAS have developed a human-centred ‘Next Generation Blended Learning’ methodology which is proven, award winning and high-impact.
In this interactive session, Rob Hubbard will take you through the Next Generation Blended Learning methodology, helping you avoid the most common pitfalls whilst taking a deeply human-centred approach to learning design.
Rob is a designer through and through who is fascinated by how we learn, what we remember and why we pay attention to some things and not others. He is a great enthusiast of all that technology can offer to enhance learning and has completed a huge variety of projects in his 20-year career.
In 2005, Rob founded LAS, which has grown to become a multi award-winning digital learning innovation company. He was the elected Chair of the eLearning Network for two years, is a regular conference speaker across Europe, judges Learning Innovation Awards and was honoured with the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Industry’ eLearning Award in 2015. He is also the editor and co-author of The Really Useful eLearning Instruction Manual one of the leading books on the subject, published by Wiley and featuring contributions from the brightest and best elearning minds on both sides of the Atlantic.
