A focus on 100% performance rather than learning.
What “game changers” would you like to see and why?
Teams of Performance Consultant reporting directly to the board (not HR) who do a quick analysis of any request for L&D or HR investment so that all investments are linked to a measurable performance gap. If we did this we could save 40% of investment wasted on inappropriate solutions.
What do you think the world of L&D will look like by 2020?
Self service L&D from interactive Intranet portals driven by line mangers and performers all transactional L&D will have been automated
L&D will be part of Performance support led by a team of internal Performance Consultants contributing to measurable organisational performance improvement
What advice would you give your 21 year old self?
What out for the rise of NLP and Neuroscience and keep up-to-date, Work with the business and record evidence of your successes
