This course provides you with all the tools and techniques required to develop learner-centric design skills, enabling you to support your live online courses.
Everyone who needs to design courses for delivery in a live online learning (virtual classroom) environment.
You’ll learn how to design learning materials for the live online environment and how to think differently about participant engagement and interactivity. The live online environment is very different to the face-to-face one. You cannot simply transfer your classroom courses to the live online environment.
CDOL will provide you with proven, research-based, best practice tips and techniques for online training design that lead to practical learning transfer, which will be explained, practised, and reinforced throughout the course.
Delivery times can be tailored to suit specific requirements, so please contact us to arrange a closed course. Otherwise, you can apply for any of the public scheduled courses.
Delegates who pass the course are awarded the CDOL Certification (issued by The Learning and Performance Institute) and permitted to use, display and share the official CDOL digital badge.
Live online sessions will be conducted twice a week for three weeks. Each session will last 90-120 minutes. In addition, there will be spaced learning assignments to reinforce and enhance the live online sessions.
This is probably one of the best development activities I have done in all my career.
I’ve really been enjoying the course thus far. The additional resources on the learning portal are really making feel positive about how I can improve what we’re doing to support our regional teams; it’s great to feel inspired and energised rather than thinking that one faces an insurmountable challenge!
